What a weekend!
As well as our own cookery courses we also offer private Group bookings. This weekend we have done 3 courses all with 9-10 people on, it has been hard work but really worth it.
Saturday Afternoon was our own half day 'Cooking with Chicken' cookery school, which was fully booked with 9 people. Christian cooked 3 very large chickens in about 6 different ways. After boning the chickens, the legs were stuffed and rolled, and then a number of different techniques were used on the breasts; spatchcock, butterfly-ing, pan fried, made a delicious chicken sausage. The stuffing was made from chicken, ham hock, tarragon and cream and was absolutely mouthwatering. The next course is on Saturday 25th May - places are getting booked up already, so looking forward to that.
Sunday afternoon - a 40th Birthday Party. Italian theme - so there was Parmigiana de Melanzane (Baked Aubergine) - name hardly does it justice with the endulgent tomato sauce, eggs and the parmesan. Pasta making - rolled out and cut the ravioli with a beautiful butternut squash and telleggio filling.
Monday morning a Company Team Building event - which coincidentally had the same theme as the birthday party. They also enjoyed the pasta making, the baked aubergines and also made flat breads and pizza dough which they cooked with their choice of toppings.
Group bookings are a fabulous way of getting people together, for a birthday, hen or stag party, company team building, whatever the event we can cater to up to a maximum of 10 people (minimum of 6) for a full or half day cookery school.
